just had a fantastic short stay in taunton, and mountlands lodge exceeded all expectations! the loft room was beautifully clean and had everything we needed. breakfast was delicious and the hosts were so welcoming. loved the cozy lounge area too. definitely recommend!

Missing Hot Tub

From the moment we arrived at Mountlands Lodge in Taunton, we felt like long lost friends. The owners, Simon and Louise, were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The room was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed, including a hairdryer and toiletries. The attention to detail was faultless, with makeup removal pads and cotton buds provided. The bedding was clean and the decor lovely. We also appreciated the presence of a beauty therapist at the B&B, which was perfect for my back condition. the experience was excellent and we would highly recommend this place.

I had such a lovely stay at this cosy property with a great location. The lodge was beautifully designed and had everything I could possibly want. The host, Louise, was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The property is surrounded by a large tree, which did occasionally cause the TV and internet reception to cut in and out, but it wasn't a major inconvenience. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Mountlands Lodge and would highly recommend it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful B and B that truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome and made to feel right at home. The room I stayed in was not only clean and spacious but also had all the amenities I could possibly need. The attention to detail was outstanding, with fresh milk for my tea and lovely china cups.

The room was spacious and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and a fantastic bathroom. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options and locally sourced ingredients. Due to bad weather, the TV signal was a bit unreliable during our stay. However, we understand that this was beyond the control of the hosts.

Perfect location for my business trip. The property was spotless with all the facilities one could require. Simon and Louise went out of their way to make me feel welcome, with nice touches like scent diffusers and luxury bathing products. The bed was turned down with a chocolate on the pillow after dinner. A wonderfully relaxing time.

The bed in my room was quite small and uncomfortable. It would have been much better if they offered larger beds for a more comfortable sleep.
